Die berühmte gotische Pfarrkirche, die als bedeutedste westfälische Hallenkirche gilt, ist im Hintergrund in verbläuter Form dargestellt. Das Blatt stammt aus einem Skizzenbuch mit zahlreichen Aquarellen, die der unbekannte Künstler “G.Stein” um 1866 erstellt hat.

  • Beschreibung: Schöne Ansicht des Pfarrhauses zu Soest, das auf einer kleinen Erhebung vor der Südfassade der Wiesenkirche steht. Die berühmte gotische Pfarrkirche, die als bedeutedste westfälische Hallenkirche gilt, ist im Hintergrund in verbläuter Form dargestellt.   • Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Das Papier ist minimal vergilbt und weist vereinzelte kleine Flecken auf. Links unten ist ein kleiner Einriss im Papier sowie ein weiterer am Rand des Blattes zu sehen. Entlang der unteren Blattkante ist eine schmale Kratzspur zu erkennen. Die Blattecken sind minimal bestoßen.

  • Date: 19th century
  • Description: Beautiful view of the parsonage at Soest, which stands on a small elevation in front of the south façade of the Wiesenkirche. The famous Gothic parish church, which is considered the most important Westphalian hall church, is depicted in the background in a verbläuter form. The sheet comes from a sketchbook with numerous watercolours created by the unknown artist “G.Stein” around 1866.

  • Condition: Very good condition. The paper is minimally yellowed and has scattered small stains. There is a small tear in the paper at the lower left and another one at the edge of the sheet. There is a narrow scratch mark along the lower edge of the sheet. The corners of the sheet are minimally bumped.
