- Beschreibung: Mit spitzem Bleistift gezeichnetes Landschaftsbild mit Ausblick auf eine Hügellandschaft mit einzelnen Gehöften oder Klostergebäuden. Im Vordergrund ist ein dichtes Waldstück zu sehen, wo der anonyme Künstler einen Standort mit gutem Ausblick gefunden hat. Verso in Bleistift bezeichnet und datiert: “Weilburg on the 17th of Octo: 1834”. Das Blatt stammt von einem unbekannten englischen Reisenden, der im 19. Jahrhundert in Hessen unterwegs war.

- Description: Landscape picture drawn with a pointed pencil with a view of a hilly landscape with individual farmsteads or monastery buildings. In the foreground a dense wooded area can be seen, where the anonymous artist found a location with a good view. Inscribed and dated in pencil on the verso: “Weilburg on the 17th of Octo: 1834”. The print was made by an unknown English traveller who was travelling in Hesse in the 19th century.
